Our client is a leading international tourism group with headquarters in UK and operates in over 180 countries. This company is a leisure travel provider committed to responsible leadership in the travel sector.

As a Financial Analyst, your main responsibilities will be:

-Elaborate monthly management accounts, understanding variances to prior year, forecast and budget, both Year to Date and Distance to Go for the year.
-Identify over and underperforming areas, reasons, potential solutions, and evaluate the impact of the issue on financials in future months.
-Elaborate monthly forecasts, annual budgets, and 5 Years Plan. Challenge submissions by the business with an inquiring mind to fully understand trends, and identify risks and opportunities.
-Prepare Top down forecasts and what if scenarios that can be compared to the business submissions
-Build and maintain financial models, KPIs, Dash Boards and provide analytical support to business initiatives.
-Create profit protection plans to offset potential issues when they emerge.
-Support the focus on costs management (Direct Operating Costs, Distribution Costs and Overheads), identifying and executing saving initiatives.
-Work closely with the Strategy team in the evaluation of strategic alternatives and the development of five year plans.
-Provide financial support to Group wide projects.

This position will require the following qualification and skills:

-University degree or equivalent relevant work experience in Finance or Business Administration.
-At least 3 years of experience.
-Fluent in English. Spanish is not required.
-Highly analytical but with a hands-on mind-set.
-At least 4 years of related experience.
-Ability to meet tight deadlines and handle multiple tasks.
-Very proactive and very results oriented.
-Strong communication and influencing skills.
-Ability to build strong relationships.
-Strong with Power Point and Excel
