Our client is a multinational insurance company with headquarters in Barcelona. Focused on managing business risk from a global perspective.
As an Accountant, your main responsibilities will include:
-Prepare cash forecasts for insurance companies
-Make all treasury bookings and bank reconciliations for insurance companies
-Prepare high level financial reviews
-Prepare balance sheet reconciliations
-Support the rest of the Finance department with month end adjustments and accruals and other balance sheet reconciliations
-Ensure all bookings are made according to the closing schedule
-Adhoc queries and reporting
We are looking for someone with the following cualifications, experience and skills:
-Accounting related degree
-Fluency in written and oral English (minimum First Certificate in English)
-Great organization skills and attention to detail
-Able to prioritise and multi-task when needed
-5 years+ experience in similar position
-Ability to work to deadlines
-Experience working with multiple currencies
-Proficient in Microsoft Office package especially Excel and Outlook
