Translation Project Coordinator with Greek

Location: Madrid

Department: Sales & Marketing


Our client is a multinational American company leader in integrated communications.


As a Project Coordinator, you will belong to the Project Department being in charge of the whole management process. Your duties will be the following:

-Manage localization projects from beginning to end, working closely with language specialists, localization engineers, terminologists, product management and development, internal business partners and external vendors and other departments
-Develop project plans and workflows, managing time, budget, resources and quality control
-Follow analysis of client specific localization software application requirements, creates and manages internal version of localization project plans, and provides project specific education and coaching to ---
-Create and control localization project budgets, perform cost tracking analysis, ensure timely issuance of purchase orders and invoices and approve work reports
-Analyze location project risk, and defines mitigation actions of identified risks
-Identify and solve localization issues or disagreements, whether system or product, identify causes and perform corrective actions
-Assign, monitor and measure project team members’ work
-Manage team’s compliance with standards, practices and policies
-Direct team’s deliveries to timelines and product quality, including responsiveness and professionalism towards both internal and external clients
-Lead project/client/business partner meetings and conference calls, including project kick-off meetings, weekly and ad-hoc, issue, solve and perform post-mortems, while ensuring meetings are recorded and minutes distributed, manage the delivery of agreed upon active items
-Present regular reports to client, corporate office and peers on progress and forecast of project team’s work status, escalating issues and evaluating needed support


We are looking for candidates with the following requisites:


-Bachelor's Degree (localization, business, linguistics, or with equivalent experience)
-Solid in-depth knowledge of internationalization and localization


-2 years of experience directly related to project management (preferably in the localization industry) or master's degree preferred

Technical skills:
-Advanced/Proficient Level of English
-Fluency in Greek
