Business Unit Manager

Location: Tres Cantos, Madrid, Spain

Business unit “Consumer Products” takes care of Softlines (clothing footwear), Hardlines, Toys Children Products and Electrical Electronics products.


The person will monitor and analyze market situation and promote services development with Business Line Manager.
To take care of the team to assure Customer Satisfaction and Sales Growth
To ensure achievement of P&L objectives


-Possess at least a master’s degree specializing in business, marketing, engineering, science. MBA is preferred and over 5 years of experience in NDT.
-Develop and promote relationships within the same business unit over the world
-Meetings with each Business Line Manager, to know the evolution of the relationships with the Costumers they manage.
-Meetings with the Executive Sponsor / Sales Manager, to know the evolution of the relationships with the Costumers they manage.
-To review the proposal.
-Communicate and be understood by the staff (bidirectional communication).
-To define the vision of the business line.
-Leadership of international teams
-Strategic marketing and sales skills and the proven persistence to implement strategic concepts
-Must be personable and work well independently, as well as in a team environment.
-Ability to build up knowledge on regulations and standards and to quickly assimilate and assess new information and develop plans to capitalize or react to it
-Understands scheduling, planning and the product development cycle
-Strong analytical, problem solving, attention to detail and process improvement skills.
-Able to work well under pressure to handle crisis situations and balance several tasks simultaneously.
-Performs with sense of urgency and sensitivity to deadlines.
-Able to prioritize, delegate tasks to appropriate staff and perform required follow up.
-Excellent verbal and written communication and presentation skills
-Must be energetic, confident, highly efficient, and self-motivated.
-Good command over English.
