Responsible for all daily financial and administrative accounting and reporting as required by local legislation and Regus Group policies. Active team member to support local billing teams by providing daily support, including administrative, accounting and taxation issues.
Reporting to the local Financial Controller.
Responsabilities:
•Responsible for daily local accounting for the Spanish entities, e.g. booking of purchase and sales invoices, bank statements, petty cash reports, deposits, depreciation and payroll journals etc.
•Assist in monthly and year end closing of local books
•Prepare monthly payroll and maintaining the HR system
•Prepare weekly debtors reports and support in cash collection
•Reconcile supplier statements and contact person for suppliers
•Maintain internal control and policies
•File and maintain all financial related documents
•Support to financial controller and co-ordinate with other departments, operations & sales
Requirements:
•Min degree level in accounting
•Minimum of 4 years of accounting experience, preferably in multinational environment
•Experience in providing administrative business support, daily accounting and monthly and year-end closures
•Strong knowledge of information systems, Microsoft Office, Excel etc.
•Experience with payroll and HR related issues.
•Experience with accounting software Sun would be an advantage
•Team player, flexible, open-minded, commercial, responsible, independent
•Able to work and prioritise in a constantly changing environment, used to work with tight deadlines
•Fluent in English, both oral and written
