Our client is a multinational company specialized in the chemical and pharmaceutical sector. The company has revenue of more than €40 billion and employs more than 100.000 employees worldwide. This position is for the Barcelona office where many different nationalities are present.
Working inside the Financial Accounting department you will be responsible for all incoming inquiries from a wide range of clients, including suppliers, buyers.
PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES
- To receive, sort, log and answer all incoming queries from suppliers, buyers.
- To learn complex standard processes and apply those to detailed level problem solving in order to correctly resolve the query to the satisfaction of the customer.
- To reconcile vendor accounts.
- To report and maintain standard business metrics.
- To lead new country and process implementations being the experts of their country specifics.
Others
- Support Accounts Payables invoice entry team
- Liaising with Procurement team, Vendor master data team as required.
- KPIs reporting.
- Backup for other countries depending on language.
We are looking for a person with the following qualifications, experience and skills:
Qualifications
-Fluent English and Spanish
-Bachelor's or technical school degree in Accounting, Finance, Administrativo, Business or equivalent
Experience
-Experience in the accounting area, account payable or account receivable is desirable
-Financial Interest
-Back Office/Administrative Experience will also be considered
Skills
-Solid analytical and PC skills (Advanced MS Office Excel user)
-Knowledge in SAP
-Good interpersonal and communicative skills
-Team player
-Dynamic person with good interpersonal and customer oriented skills
-Willing to work in an international environment
