European independent provider of IT infrastructure services. Their mission is to help customers maximise the value of IT by advising on IT strategy, deploying and integrating appropriate Technologies.

The role is based in Barcelona, and main tasks would include:

· Local Service Desk Operational P&L
· Achievement of SLAs KPIs for the business unit
· Regular customer engagement, reporting on operational performance
· Ensuring availability of Service Desk Facilities, Tools and Staff
· Adoption of Global Standards
· Adoption of any local customer specific standards
· Fulfilment of Local Service Desk Improvement Actions
· Collaboration in Global Service Desk Improvement Actions
· Driving Quality and Productivity improvement in a Service Desk environment
· Internal escalation Customer escalation via Service Managers
· Providing backup to other Service Desk Delivery Managers
· Manage the introduction of Changes into the desk
· Meeting with Regional Service Manager
· Provide impact analysis for any requested changes
· Provide and agree headcount and financial forecasts with the Global Service Desk Manager
· Support initiatives to improve margins in the Company Service
· Service Desk Continuous Improvement Plan
· Support with transition and BAU projects
· Lead and develop a team of Team Leaders

Fluent English is essential
Fluent 2 other European languages is a requirement
Experience
Demonstrable experience of working with virtual desks with different countries and cultures
Skills / Behaviours
Advanced Excel Skills are essential
