Digital Signal Processing ASIC R&D Engineer
With a recent (18m) MsC or PhD

Digital Signal Processing plays a crucial role in the ASICS and FPGAs enabling today's Test and Measurement equipment. Based at our R&D site in Rotselaar, Belgium, you will be developing cutting edge DSP solutions among some of the best talent in the industry.

You will be working in a dynamic and international team, exploring and developing novel digital signal processing approaches, using state-of-the-art DSP and ASIC design tools and flows providing significant contributions to the competitive advantage of Keysight's future products.

With your strong background in advanced Digital Signal Processing and hands on digital design expertise you will play a significant role in the design of digital and mixed-signal implementations for Keysight's products.

Your major responsibilities in our growing ASIC team will include:

• Exploration, analysis and design of new digital signal processing algorithms
• Specification, simulation and optimization of signal processing building blocks
• Exploration of ASIC or FPGA architectures and optimization of digital signal processing blocks
• Integration and verification of your design in a larger system context

Your Personal Qualities are:

• Ability to provide technical depth in order to identify solutions for complex technical problems, with a keen attention to detail
• Self-reliant and excellent team player and communicator
• Committed to work accurately delivering quality solutions meeting customer requirements
• Quick learner and open to acquire our in-house ASIC and FPGA design processes
• Excellent communications skills and the ability to articulate designs
• Fluent in both spoken and written (technical) English

Your Technical Skills are:
• Solid mathematical background
• Fluent with Digital Signal Processing (DSP) algorithms as well as their hardware implementations
• Hands-on experience with Digital design and implementation and cost/performance trade-offs.
• Digital system modelling expertise including tools and languages such as Matlab, C, SystemC.

Applications are invited from highly motivated individuals with a recent PhD or MSc in Electronics Engineering (received less than 18mago)
