As a Head of Finance and Controlling for France your mission is to manage the Finance department within a country by ensuring that IFRS (Group), statutory and tax requirements are satisfied, that the value of the entity is safeguarded and that local Finance Controlling service is provided in the most effective and efficient way.

Your key responsibilities will be:  
                                                    
-Fulfil instructions of Group Reporting and Consolidation, such as reporting needs, IC reconciliations, provisions and accruals
-Fulfil instructions of Group Treasury, such as cash forecasting, cash pools, etc.
-Fulfil instructions of Group Tax, such as transfer pricing, tax optimisation
-Fulfil instructions of Group Controlling, such as cost accounting, ad-hoc analyses, etc.
-Support and advise local business and functions in all financial matters
-Ensure full compliance with principles and reporting requirements for IFRS, statutory, legal and tax purposes
-Ensure that all required reports are accurate and submitted on time
-Represent legal entities towards auditors, tax, banks and other financial authorities
-Maintain a strong local internal control system and implement relevant guidelines
-Provide reporting services, such as inventory valuation, cost accounting, fixed assets accounting, IC reconciliation, monthly and yearly closing and reporting
-Provide controlling services, such as maintenance of cost centre structure and of product costing, cost analyses, production cost analyses
-Initiate efficiency improvements and minimization of administrative tasks
-Integrate BPO (Business Process Outsourcing) as extended arm of local organisation
-Stabilise Finance organisation and the interfaces with BPO (expertise and validation with BPO, transactional duties and quality control with BPO)
-Ensure adequate knowledge transfer with BPO
-Lead ACTS implementation and daily execution whilst developing organization

We're looking for a candidate with the following competences and skills:

-Degree in Accounting Controlling or recognized qualification (Certified Accountant)
-Very good IFRS-knowledge Statutory GAAP and basic tax knowledge
-5+ years of working experience in Accounting and Controlling ideally acquired in a complex international group environment
-Experience with international Financial Shared Service Centers
-Hands-on work ability
-Ability to work with outsourcing partners
-Open-minded regarding acting in a multi-culture work environment
-Industry and finance experience
-Very good SAP FI/CO and Excel knowledge
-Native French + Fluent in English is a must, with multi-language skills valuable (not necessary)
