Our client is a software company based in Barcelona that has specialized in web-based technologies providing solutions in the field of wireless sensors and the development of Software for the control of remote systems.
As a senior software engineer, you will be working in the R&D department division and reporting to a manager of this department. Your objective will be to convert latest research results into innovative products in order to keep S&C product pipeline full.
Your main responsibilities:
-Analysis, design, implementation, test, performance analysis, optimization and creation of innovative solutions within R&D projects mostly using C# .Net technologies
We are looking for a person with the following experience and skills:
Experience
-Developing in ASP.Net C# (Webforms, mvc, wcf)
-Entity Framework and Linq
-SQL Server 2008
-HTML, CSS, jQuery
-IIS 7
-Experience in developing Semantics and Ontologies, Agile software development methodologies
Desired attributes
-Knowledge database NOSQL
-Knowledge of SOA, EDA
-Experience in developing applications or mobile (Android, IOS and WP8)
-Implementations in Cloud environments (Amazon, Rackspace, etc.)
-Having worked in research projects
