This position is at our office in Barcelona, Spain, located downtown, overlooking the Mediterranean Sea. Agilent Technologies handles most of the administration for Europe from the hub in Barcelona. This hub is also home of the Europe HR Services Team responsible for Payroll and HR Administration of 16 countries and approximately 3500 employees. The work environment is very international and values best practice sharing among the different local experts.

We are looking for a proactive, hard-working and motivated candidate to handle Payroll/HR Services for Switzerland and provide support on UK payroll.

Main tasks:

• Manage the payroll processing vendor for Switzerland
• Control payroll input versus output data, understand trends, explain differences
• Reporting, payments and declarations to authorities
• Help employees on enquiries about their pay-slips, contracts, absences, etc.
• Employment contracts, preparation of certificates
• Manage the time-keeping system
• Ensure compliance with Sarbanes Oxley guidelines
• Represent the organization in case of internal or external audit
• Support legal changes or company programs impacting payroll
• Provide support to UK payroll and back-up Belgium

You will interact with company personnel at all organizational levels and will be required to perform duties of a critical or confidential nature.

We need an highly numerical person attached to details with analytical skills and very well organized.

• Fluent German English + good knowlege of French and/or Dutch
• Microsoft Excel
• Country knowledge, including tax and social security understanding
• Payroll knowledge, or in default either accounting or HR IT experience
