Weekendesk, the leading online travel agency of short-breaks. It has an annual turnover of 85 million €, of which 10 million € is for Benelux Business Unit.
With its headquarter in Paris and another office in Barcelona, Weekendesk is active on the following markets: France, Spain, Benelux and Italy.
We are looking for an Area Manager for the Belgium Market, with commercial skills, willing to join to our young and multicultural team in Weekendesk BCN. In this office we have also commercial teams for Spain, Portugal and Italy, Operations and Customer Service for all the company.

Your mission
Your main goal as an Area Manager will be to develop an effective business plan to increase sales in the Belgium market, which includes hotels in different regions of this country.
One of your most important tasks will be to negotiate and create a wide variety of competitive and attractive packages with the hotels of your portfolio. You will report directly to your Team Leader about your results in your region.

•Responsible for a portfolio of around 200 hotels, in direct charge of the sales.
•Establish fruitful business relationships with the hotels in order to get the best competitive offers for our customers.
•Propose and implement actions and campaigns to react as fast as possible when sales are not aligned with budget or are decreasing
•Market analysis as well as weekly and monthly reports for proper monitoring of sales and revenue
•In charge of ensuring positive KPI’s including our prices vs competitors, availability and number of offers.
•Negotiate specials and original and competitive getaways for our customers throughout the year and for specific marketing operations

Profile
•University degree or superior education in Tourism, Business, Sales or similar.
•Languages: French mandatory, Dutch/Flemish will be a plus, good level of English.
•Commercial profile, passionate about negotiating and sales.
•Previous experience in sales and tourism.
•Dynamic, motivated and ambitious person.
•Used to work by objectives and stress resistant.
•Proactive and team worker.
•Analytic and strategic skills.
