Our client is a multinational Digital Tech Company. Their main market is in North America but they have presence in: Europe and Australia.


The Digital Marketing Director will anchor a new Marketing Team based in Barcelona.
This position is a crucial part of the operational success of the team, fully owning end to end campaign management of various lifecycle marketing programs (email, affiliates, and pricing programs) from concept to development, execution and reporting.

The person will be responsible for:

-Responsible for marketing strategy, budgeting, planning and implementation tactics, with a focus on revenue.
-Own end to end marketing campaign, production: concept, coordination of creative development, campaign setup, segment setup. See to the creation, implementation and testing of campaigns taking responsibility for retention and lifecycle of users.
-Carry out frequent analysis of campaign results and creating reports illustrating relevant information.
-Responsible for customer LTV.
-Collaborate with acquisition marketing function which is focused on maximizing free and initial paid user registration.
-Campaign testing, including A/B testing.
-Owner of member retention and longevity.
-Negotiation of commercial terms with affiliate programs and individuals affiliates.
-Oversight and ultimate responsibility of email campaigns through and email marketing specialist.
-Extensive coordination with Engineering, Customer Service, Product Management, Data Analysis, Media Buyers on testing and execution of on site up-sell optimisation and its revenue.
-Managing a team
-Communicate results and provide/implement improvement actions.
-Own day to day communication with stakeholders (Spain and US)
-Identification of member database segments. Work with technology team to extract data and create marketing campaigns targeted to these users from the database.
-Oversee email marketing strategy and its implementation.

-Fluent English
-Has demonstrated experience in subscription-based and affiliate-based campaigns. Must be able to create campaigns from scratch then incrementally improve them based on KPI, ROI and A/B results analysis
-Understand how email messages are key to revenue and their place in revenue creation
-Understand how to effectively engage with mobile users on a range of different devices and platforms
-Has worked with major traffic and networks and media brokers. Involved in commercial terms
-Clear understanding of the conversion journey of a member from free profile to paid
-Strong analytical skills with the ability to combine data from multiple in-house and external services and extract learnings and recommendations. Firm understanding of marketing KPIs and how to drive improvements to them
-Acquainted with marketing by affiliation
-Managerial experience
-Solid experience as marketing manager for subscription based website, must be B2C
-Google Analytics
-Knowledge of HTML (basic email coding best practices)
-Strong organizational skills and the ability to effectively manage multiple project at once
-Strong analytical skills, can create and analyze revenue models, pulling together data from multiple, disparate systems; should be "one with Excel" or equivalent (or better!) data analysis framework
-B.A degree or equivalent experience
