Our client is an important retail multinational company based in Barcelona, leader in is field.
We are seeking a professional who displays successful AX implementation experience as well as somebody who is motivated to deeply understand company business and needs, gathering requirements to deliver an effective solution. AX Finance Lead will be involved in implementing the solution and will assist with training if needed.
Specific functions:
- Gather a deep understanding of the company business to develop the customization and implementation of Microsoft Dynamics AX Retail.
- Ability to understand, communicate, and interpret business processes and requirements
- Perform gap analysis between Dynamics AX Retail functionality and company requirements
- Assist in creating the different phases of the solution map for the implementation
- Participate in the entire full cycle of implementation, including quality assurance and testing of the new application.
- Ensure that the AX Partner delivers the following (not limited):
* Business performance and process diagnostics and assessments
* Supervising application design and architecture components
* Supervising process and functional design activities
* Creating functional requirements as an input to application design
*Developing and testing detailed functional designs for business solution components and prototypes
*Supervising application build, test, and deploy activities
*Planning and executing data conversion activities
*Driving test planning and execution
*Project and program management that exhibits leadership in process re-engineering and implementation of process, technology, strategy, and organizational change
We are looking for candidates with the following characteristics:
- Bachelor’s Degree: Business or technology related BA/BS
- 5+ years ERP implementation experience, mainly AX or other ERP products (i.e. SAP, Oracle, PeopleSoft)
- Experience participating in requirements gathering process for IT systems
- Clear and concise oral and written communication
- Ability to lead people, teams and projects
- Understanding of aspects of business management and strategic evaluation
- Proven experience and knowledge of Retail Distribution
- Dynamics AX Certification (2009 or 2012)
- Prior consulting experience
- Willing to travel 30%-50% of time
- Fluent English, additional languages would be an asset
