We are looking for an inspirational leader who is passionate about unlocking potential and learning to join our new global Talent COE as HR Director, Learning Talent. This role will be responsible for partnering with the business to build learning and talent development solutions to take Firmenich to its next level of growth. The holder of this role will have the unique opportunity to shape the future culture and build on the incredible 125 year legacy success that is Firmenich’s heritage.

Job Responsibility
Identifying the global learning priorities that will underpin the business strategy and designing relevant, effective and efficient learning tools and programs to build current and future capabilities
Partnering with the regional talent network (HR leaders with responsibility for talent initiatives) to ensure smooth and sustainable delivery of global initiatives, adopting a continuous improvement mindset
Adopting a best-practice mindset to share new ideation for learning and talent initiatives and encouraging local affiliates to adapt global solutions to fit local needs, legislation and culture
Support the smooth implementation of all talent processes and proposing simplification where it makes sense so the focus of all talent activity is on unlocking potential and creating an environment in which everyone is inspired to learn and grow
Promoting a culture in which all employees are encouraged to take ownership for and drive their own career through giving them the tools, guidance and support to understand their role and responsibility whether an employee or manager
Developing The Company global development curriculum to ensure it delivers a full curriculum that offers great and inspirational learning opportunities for all. Responsible for designing and developing new programs, briefing and managing external partners and leading internal work-groups as well as building communications to ignite a ‘learning’ and ‘growth’ mind-set
Embedding global talent processes, such as talent review, succession planning and career development so that the concepts and purpose are well understood and consistently implemented

As we are in the exciting phase of transforming our HR Function and at the start of a new business strategic cycle, Grow 125, there will also be the opportunity in this role to be involved in foundational projects and initiatives, such as contributing to the future senior leadership program and helping shape the ways of managing career development.
This role will be part of a lean global COE team and connected to all the company's affiliates via a global talent network, responsible for implementation of all talent and learning initiatives at local level as well as identifying and co-creating new elements of the talent and learning agenda.

Functional requirements
Minimally Bachelor’s degree, MA preferred, business background
Previous experience in a role connecting with multiple business stakeholders
Has a global mind-set and experience in what it takes to run global projects
Experienced in managing external partners/consultants
Proven leadership abilities and a track record of managing multicultural, virtual teams
Experience in M&A a benefit – particularly regarding cultural integration
Solid competency in leadership, communications and presentation, business partnerships, change leadership and culture/business transformation
Ability to challenge thinking and influence decisions and strategy

Technical and language skills:
Strong interest and capabilities in working with technology solutions
Facilitation expertise
Project management
Excellent and confident communicator with developed interpersonal skills
Must be fluent in English, French is a benefit
