Your role will involve:

The HR Payroll specialist will be a member of the People team of Opportunity
Network, based in Barcelona, Spain.
Responsibilities include:
Managing the day-to-day People operations and processes (e.g. paperwork, on-boarding, policies’ update, visa, payroll)
Maintaining organized physical and digital files/records of contracts and other employees-related documents
Perform background checks on candidates and employees
Tracking of each employee’s career milestones and development (e.g. trial period end, performance reviews, required trainings)
Lead organisation of team events (e.g. workshops, recruiting activities)
Monitoring other teams’ activities via informal feedbacks
Monitoring vacation requests and sickness days off
Completing ad hoc projects and research as necessary

Undergraduate degree (Master's degree in Human Resources-related field preferred)
Attention to detail, discretion, and organizational skills
Proactivity and no-task-too-small attitude, warm and personable disposition
High degree of computer aptitude and process design
Previous experience managing contracts, visa, payroll highly preferred
Previous experience in a similar role highly desirable
European passport / ability to work in Spain
Fluency in English and in Spanish
