Our client is a company in the agribusiness with major activity in Turkey.
As a Senior Accountant, you will be working in a Shared Service Center, being part of a team and performing General Accounting activities for subsidiaries abroad.
You will be responsible for:
-Prepare journals as necessary during the month in liaison with country Business Analyst and Controllers
-Prepare Balance Sheet reconciliations
-Review request for accruals against existing policy, generate accrual
-Compile periodic reports/Management information
-Create and monitor the KPI performance and take remedial action when required to ensure performance standards are met.
-Propose improvements projects to implement optimized processes in the GL team
-Responsible of the month end closing tasks, reviewing the P&L and BS
-Report to the GL Team Leader
We are looking for a person with the following qualifications, experience and skills:
Qualifications:
-Native Turkish and high level of English
-Management or Finance/accounting dregee
Experience:
-Minimum 3-4 years of experience in similar tasks
-Knowledge of IFRS principles and local GAAP
