Our client is an important Digital Business multinational company based in Barcelona.
We are looking for a Technical Director to work in a team to responsible for leading team leads and engineers within 2-4 cross-functional product teams for a multinational company based in Barcelona.
As Technical Director you are able to define and discuss the technical design of an application and be confident in discussions with Product and bring performance culture both to the team and to yourself.
You will enable the people in your teams to work as efficiently as possible and manage their personal development and you will coordinate best possible staffing of projects in close co-operation with your teams and the Barcelona leadership team.
- Passion and proficiency in leading people.
- Previous experience as Technical Director, coordinating many teams in an international environment.
- Several years’ hands-on experience in developing web applications, and preferably have knowledge of a Ruby on Rails, backbone.js and marionette stack.
- Strong interest and knowledge of digital business and upcoming technologies and are able to support the product director with strategy and roadmap planning.
- Self-motivated and you take ownership - and encourage your teams to do the same.
- Experience agile environment.
- Fluent in English.
- Fluency in German and Spanish would be a plus.
