Our client is a information and technology company, offering a full range of technology products, solutions and services.

Develops, proposes and helps execute communication strategies to protect the company's reputation by identifying issues and areas of potential or actual crisis:

• Under broad direction, initiates, plans and coordinates multiple, complex communications projects.
• Develops, plans, manages and implements proactive strategies to identify potential and emerging issues before they become flash points for external constituency groups or media.
• Disaster and crisis communications planning and execution for enterprise-wide disasters/crises and crises/disasters related to local markets, regions and product lines.
• Counsels appropriate stakeholders on organizational issues
• On-going liaison with senior executives, Legal, HR, Compliance, Operations, Global HQ or other relevant parties
• Ensures crisis communications governance model across the international regions.
• Collaborates with leaders to shape subject matter, develop editorial strategy and ensure completion of media materials e.g. situation briefings, internal and external Q&As holding statements, etc.
• Provides guidance for regional PR teams including key messages and Q&A.


• 5 years performing one or more Communication functions (public/media relations, analyst relations, internal/employee/executive communications, external/customer communications, and/or marketing communications). Corporate or agency experience is required. Hi-tech or information technology solutions/services industry knowledge is a plus.
• Demonstrable writing skills as evidenced by a portfolio.
• Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment and delegate tasks to team members as necessary.
• Must have successfully initiated and led multiple communication projects with a high degree of complexity at both a strategic and tactical level. Must have demonstrated the ability to manage resources, develop and manage a budget, and implement communications measurement techniques.
• Demonstrated ability to establish and develop relationships with senior leaders, executives and external partners.
• Bachelor’s degree in a communications or marketing discipline or equivalent work experience. Master’s degree is a plus.
