Our client is an important company within the industrial sector and need to incorporate a Quality Manager.
As a Quality Manager you will report to the Plant Manager and you will be responsible for the following functions:
- Ensuring that all items whether they be raw materials, in final product includable elements, manufactured or trading good items and Services conform to the Product Specifications and required Quality standards laid down. No item/service may be delivered or leave the Company’s premises unless released as QC OK.
-He will report any deviations or non-conformities to the General Manager whether they be internal production or site service related.
-He will lead the pursuit of corrective and preventive actions plan to solve these deviations, leading or taking part in teams arranged to improve quality parameters.
-Responsible for the issue and updating of the Project/Product Quality Control Manuals and all related documents around.
-He is the management representative for the quality, environmental and (later on) safety management system. He will lead the continuous improvement inside the company and will interface with other related actors (customers, Group`s QC/QA managers, internal departments, official bodies and labs…)
-Ensure that all production procedures and standards are adhered to at all times that only approved Raw Materials and includable elements are used.
-Responsible for the preparation, control and issuance of all Project related Quality Control Manuals in a timely manner.
-Responsible for ensuring all Quality Control Manuals are maintained up to date, issued and implemented.
-Edition and review of any other Quality documentation (procedures, working instructions, action plans…)
-CollaboratION with Project Mangers in some documentation issuing, Customized Quality Plans, FMEA documents, SPC…
-Quality indicators reporting (KPI issuing and maintaining)
We are looking for a person with the following requirements:
Minimum Qualifications:
-Graduate (Engineering, preferably with a degree in Mechanics or Industrial Organization or Science)
Minimum Experience:
+5 years of QC/QA in Fibreglass Industry or, if not possible, in plastic and composites parts and subassemblies manufacturing companies around Automotive or Aeronautics business.
Job-Specific Skills:
-Knowledge of accreditation procedures and Quality/Environmental/Safety Management system certifications.
-Laboratory testing experience
-Knowledge of International Product Certification Regulations, very valuable those related to Fibreglass piping industry.
-Knowledge of methodologies as: Lean Manufacturing, 6 Sigma, TQM…
-Demonstrable high level of English language (spoken and written). Other languages as French or German may be either valuated.
-Highly valuable: detailed knowledge in composites production and plastics.
-Highly valuable: Pipe/piping design and manufacturing process knowledge
-Highly valuable: long term experience (+4 years) in multinational companies.
-Highly valuable: Deep knowledge of Automotive Advance Quality Planning (AQP), Procedures and Standards as: ANPQP, APQP, VDA 6, ISO/TS 16949…
