Credit&Collections Team Leader with native level of Spanish+Portuguese/French

The company has opened a pan-European Shared Service Centre based in Barcelona. Apart from the financial transaction functions, this centre also houses all of European accounting and administrative functions

Empleo

As a Credit&Collections Team Leader you will be in charge of:
-The supervision of a team of Strategic account Collectors
-Provide receivable management to the Strategic account portfolio.
-To maintain appropriate Ledger housekeeping, and general accounting reconciliations to satisfy company standards and deadlines.

Principal accountabilities :
Company Policy : To adhere to the company’s local and global policy (fundamental to all parts of the job)
Team Supervision : The day to day supervision of team members, ensuring that key tasks are completed in accordance with the agreed service levels and the coaching/development of individuals.

Cash Collection: The timely collection of outstanding balances, utilizing SAP Global Escalation Policy functionality. Ensuring incoming calls and emails are responded to within set targets and the identification/logging of customer complaints.

Unpaid Direct Debts: The timely processing of unpaid Direct Debits received on the Strategic Account ledger.
Account Reconciliation and House Keeping
The investigation and resolution of un-applied cash and short pays on the Strategic account ledgers. Cleaning small aged documents and balances in accordance with agreed policy.

Support and Backup Activities: Providing support for other teams during busy periods and staff absence to ensure continuity of service.

Requisitos

We are looking for a person with the following qualifications and skills:

Qualifications
-Native level of Spanish, fluent English and preferably Portuguese or French;
-Preferable Business Administration or Economics

Experience Required:
-Supervisory experience.
-Credit and Collections experience.
-Experience of a similar high volume incoming call environment.

Soft skills:
-Capacity of fluent interpersonal negotiation both with external and internal customers
-Ability to work on own initiative and collectively as a team
-Self-motivation and focus on objectives and results
-Excellent interpersonal, communicative and influencing skills, verbally and written

Technical skills:
-Understanding of customer accounts and general business workflows
-MS Office
-SAP
