Field Support Engineer

Our client is a provider of software-based solutions for the Intelligent Transportation Systems (ITS) sector. They have sold more than 120,000 units in over 60 countries worldwide. With headquarters in Minnesota, they have offices in Barcelona and London among others.

Empleo

As a Field Support Engineer, you will be working in the Technical Field Support Office and reporting to the Senior Field Support Engineer.

Your main responsibilities:

-Plan and carry out product technical support at customers location
-Travel within Europe, Middle East Africa
-Plan and co-ordinate travelling schedules through Senior Field Support Engineer
-Communicate with the company engineering development department
-Create training presentations
-Present training presentations to groups

Requisitos

We are looking for a person with the following qualifications, experience and skills:

Qualifications

-Engineer Degree in Electrical/ Electronics field

Experience

-At least 2 years of experience in similar position

Skills

-Fluent in English, Spanish will be a plus
-Computer skills:

- Microsoft Word
- Microsoft Excel
- Microsoft Power Point

-Good knowledge with Windows operating systems
-Networking
-Fault finding
-Design
-Boolean logic
-Understand electrical systems such as:

- Power Supplies
- Relays
- Cabling

Others

-Availability to travel about 50% of work time
