We are recruiting a Testing Engineer for a well-known telecommunications corporation. The objective of this role is to perform testing activities in the systems (platform application) to get the best quality of the product.

Empleo
As a Testing Engineer, you will be working in the R&D Department of the company and reporting to the Testing Manager. You will be responsible of understanding the functionality of the node and the use cases applicable, transforming the project’s requirements on use cases, covering various activities so can offer a consistent and optimize test strategy since the initial design phases till the delivery of the product.
Your main responsibilities will be:
-Participate in the preparation, develop and execution of functional and system tests. Also validate of result of the testing.
-Propose and implement improvements to optimize the quality and the effort in testing, covering: test methodology, tools and any other issue related.
-Collaborate with other organizations and participate in activities at solution level, helping them with the definition of end to end use cases in which our product has impact.
-Perform and/or coordinate demonstration, acceptance test, and implementation in customer site, having direct contact with customer.
-Collaboration/support to the rest of organizations.

Requisitos
We are looking for a person with the following qualifications, experience and skills:
Qualifications
-Degree of Civil Engineer/Technician or Graduate (Telecommunication, computer science, industrial, or in mathematics, physical...) or experience in a similar position.
Experience
- 3+ years of experience from testing and/or network integration verification.
Technical Skills Competences
-A technical understanding of IP/datacom technologies and preferably telephony in the mobile and fix arena
-Knowledge of mobile and fix protocols for computer networks as Diameter, Radius, HTTP, SMTP, SOAP…and the use of protocol analyzers
-Knowledge of SQL, LDAP…
-Knowledge of NSP/TSP or UNIX/LINUX (SUSE or SLES)
-Knowledge of C++, TTCN3 or similar programming language, Scripting and Debugging
-Knowledge of database access languages: SQL, LDAP…

-Quick and self learning. Be encouraged to gain and develop his/her own skills

-Fluent English is a MUST. Other languages will be valuable.
