Our client is an important FMCG sector company.
As a Network Manager, you will be reporting to the Director, Global Back Office Infrastructure and Operations.
You will be responsible for:
-Directly supervises employee(s) and partners, and carries out supervisory responsibilities including interviewing, hiring and training employees and partners; planning, assigning and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems.
-Accountable to maintain security level on network perimeter as per security policy.
-Performs analysis of network needs and contributes to design of network architecture, integration and installation.
-Accountable for the maintenance and support of network hardware and software, including servers, peripherals, network nodes, terminals and wiring.
-Coordinates and lead discussions with other departments in order to understand and meet their requirements.
-Evaluates network hardware and software requirements and capabilities and makes recommendations.
-Establishes budgetary requirements for solution evolution and projects, controls budget and spend.
-Coordinates and drives third-party maintenance for network services.
-Develops or establishes strong relationships with service providers.
-Negotiates and contracts with consultants, technical personnel and vendors for services and products.
-Prepares and maintains documentation of network configurations and layouts.
-Continuously proposes service evolution while improving user experience and optimising cost.
We are looking for a professional with the following qualifications, experience and skills:
-Bachelor’s degree in business management, computer science or related field
-5 to 10 years experience in supporting Network environment in large worldwide environment
-3-5 years experience in managing global projects
-Proven track record of managing a team
-Strong Network knowledge (firewalls, VPN, WAN, LAN, WLAN, DC network)
-Strong understandings of global IT architecture
-Excellent services oriented mindset
-Excellent organisational and coordination skills
-Flexible and strong responsive to change
-Excellent oral and written communication skills
-Ease to work in a multi-national and multi-cultural environment
-Great at organizing, prioritizing and multitasking
