Our Client provides consultancy, architercture, security and cloud services to optimize the information and communications technology environments of enterprises.
As a Project Manager you will be responsible for the deployment of medium to large complex ICT Solutions.
The projects are varied; ranging from intricate 5 server solutions to multi-site pan European deployments consisting of 100’s of servers delivered within a programme.
This role is responsible for the planning, delivery, documentation and transition of customer projects.
You will work closely with designated technical resources in order to finalise design and provide an accurate forecast of delivery to customers. You are ultimately responsible for the effective delivery of the solution and for the setting and maintaining of customers’ expectations.
Your Key Responsibilities as a Project Manager will be:
-Timely delivery of Customer Solutions.
-Maintaining customer relationships and communication during the project life cycle.
-Organised interaction with other company employees to maintain optimum working relations.
-Assist in the development of Project documents and templates.
-Produce project management documentation deliverables such as PMP, Gantt charts, Risk Logs, Quality plans, etcetera to a high standard.
-Conform to quality and project standards.
-Effective management of the expectations of key stakeholders such as the Sales person and the Customer
-Mentor less experienced members of the Project team
-Undertake reporting activities for their project portfolio and team as directed.
-Project P&L control
-Any other duties required by the Solution Delivery Manager which is reasonably with the scope of this role.
-Report to the Solution Delivery Team Leader or their delegate for day-to-day activities and project assignments.
-Co-ordinate tasks with personnel across Europe.
-Manage the delegation of tasks to 3rd party suppliers .
-Provide escalation for project issues to relevant business sponsors.
-Support the Sales team in Pre-Sales activities.
The following experience and skills are required:
-Degree in relevant field or equivalent experience
-Ability to use English as the working language.
Required experience and qualifications:
-Minimum of 5years’ experience in similar position
-Have a proven track record of managing large complex projects in IAAS solutions or Service Integration Industries.
-Experience in a customer service environment, with strong communication skills; both written and verbal.
-Proven understanding of IT technology,
-Proven ability to meet high standards of written and oral communications with customers.
-PMP or Prince II certification.
-Proven ability to work under pressure and with other people.
-Tenacious attention to detail and quality.
-Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Microsoft Project applications
-Proficiency in Microsoft Visio
-Technical experience on IT Services
-Experience of working within a project office and/or program management
-A background in Professional Services based engagement
