The role of Project Manager is responsible for the deployment of customer facing IT projects. The projects are varied; ranging from intricate managed hosting and co location services to global IT outsourcing solutions
This role is responsible for the planning, delivery, documentation and transition of this company customer projects.
You will work closely with designated technical resources in order to finalise design and provide an accurate forecast of delivery to customers. You are ultimately responsible for the effective delivery of the solution and for the setting and maintaining of customers’ expectations.
•Timely delivery of Customer Solutions.
•Produce project management documentation deliverables such as PMP, Gantt charts, Risk Logs, Quality plans, etc to a high standard.
•Maintaining customer relationships and communication during the project life cycle.
•Planning and managing customer workshops in line with project requirements
•Organised interaction with other company employees to ensure effective task execution
•Assist in the development of new processes and templates
•Conform to quality and project standards set by the company Management.
•Effective management of the expectations of key stakeholders such as the Sales person and the Customer
•Project P&L control
•Report to the Solution Delivery Manager or their delegate for day-to-day activities and project assignments.
•Co-ordinate tasks with the company personnel across Europe.
•Manage the delegation of tasks to 3rd party suppliers .
•Provide escalation for project issues to relevant business sponsors.
•Support the Sales team in Pre-Sales activities such as creation of Statements of Work
•Have a proven track record of managing IT projects
•Be able to demonstrate leadership abilities.
•Experience in a customer service environment, with strong communication skills; both written and verbal.
•Proven understanding of IT technology
•Proven ability to meet high standards of written and oral communications with customers.
•PMP, Prince II or relevant ITIL certification.
•Proven ability to work under pressure and with other people.
•Tenacious attention to detail and quality.
•Ability to use English as the working language, written and spoken at business level
•Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Microsoft Project applications
•Proficiency in Microsoft Visio
•Technical experience on IT Services
•Experience of working within a project office
•A background in Professional Services based engagement
•Ability to communicate in French and/or Catalan
•Degree in relevant field or equivalent experience
