Technical Support Engineer - Development / Design with High level of German or French

You will be working with our products that are installed "on top" of Microsoft Windows systems and are interacting with it. Working together with your colleagues, you will be responsible for troubleshooting and resolving customer technical issues. The role involves great responsibility and opportunity to develop your inter-personal skills but also learn our market leading products and how they work in a complex and powerful environment.

In the daily work duties includes:
-Handle and answer questions on various complex development and design problems that our clients need help with
-Troubleshooting and reporting bugs to R&D
-Take responsibility for ensuring customers always receive first-class support
-Collaborating with a wider Global support team to solve customer technical issues
-Using and maintaining knowledge base
-Presenting upgrade advice and Best practice troubleshooting to customers partners



A relevant post-secondary education in IT systems or equivalent with experience in many of the following areas:
-Database administration
-Data modeling and relational data structures
-Data analysis and presentation
-BI visualization and reporting
-Data base technologies such as; Microsoft SQL Server, Oracle, SAP etc.
-Log file analysis
-Writing tutorials and technical documentation

-Knowledge about virtualization environments and cloud based technologies (Azure, VMware, AWS, …) is an advantage
-Understanding of web services (REST, SOAP …) is an advantage
-Programming languages C++/C#, .NET, Javascript, Java, VB or Python is an advantage

-You have previous experience of customer facing roles.
-You speak fluent English to a business level + French or German. We are also interested in candidates who speak Spanish and / or Italian
-As a person, you are communicative and you like to have many contacts both within and outside the company. You like to work with proactive problem solving. Furthermore, you have the ability to prioritize when there is much to do.
