Under the responsibility of the Marketing Director and in collaboration with the sales teams, the translator is in charge of translating the content on Filovent’s website.
We are looking for someone who loves to translate and is not afraid of getting bored, to help translate written web documents (guides, blog posts, destination descriptions, etc.).
Your main missions are:
● Translating content from French into English or Polish with the original meaning conveyed in a readable and understandable way for the reader.
● Types of content: Marketing and products (sailboats), online help, user interface content.
● CAT tool: working with Matecat
● Manage the entire lifecycle of multiple translation projects in a fast-paced environment
Perform quality checks at different stages of the process to ensure quality and accuracy (proofreading, final eye, etc.)
Preferred experience
● Level of education Graduate, University, Translation or Language School
● Passion for writing and travelling
● Languages: Native English or Polish, and fluent French (C1 or C2 level)
● A good command of English or Polish spelling and grammar, autonomy, initiative, a taste for travel and searching for information on the Internet, good writing skills, good written and oral communication are all qualities needed to successfully complete your tasks.
