The Charter is a European initiative that is part of the anti-discrimination directives that the EU adopted in 2000, and that has the direct support of the General Directorate for Employment, Social Affairs and Equal Opportunities of the European Commission.
Established as a code of commitment to which companies and institutions that want to support and enact the principles of diversity and inclusion of non-discrimination in their working environment voluntarily join.
As a signatory, Talent Search People agrees with a decalogue of principles that include, among others, a commitment to:
- Awareness of the principles of equal opportunity and respect for diversity within the company values,
- Building a diverse workforce,
- -The effective promotion of integration without discrimination in employment,
- The diversity management in all their direction policies,
- To spread and communicate the commitment with these values to its surroundings.
Joining this initiative Talent Search People decides to apply management policies to generate diversity and innovation capacity, creating a climate of reconciliation and satisfaction for the entire workforce, reducing operating costs, enhancing organizational effectiveness and measuring quantitatively and qualitative impact on the income statement, in addition to meeting the current regulations regarding equal opportunities. Supporting diversity management as a business, social and legal imperative.
Over seventy companies and organizations operating in Spain have joined the Diversity Charter since its launch last March. This initiative is being distributed in Spain by the “Fundación para la Diversidad”, an entity organized by the European Institute for Managing Diversity and the “Fundación Alares”.
