Cande Krause talks about Talent Search People's annual report and goals for 2021

December 17th 2020

The health, economic and working situation experienced this year has influenced the lives of many people both personally and professionally. How did Talent experience this situation and what is the forecast for next year? We spoke to Cande Krause, CEO at Talent Search People.

How have you lived these last months of the year?
I think like everyone else, with a lot of uncertainty. The last couple of months have been complicated. I have been adapting to the current circumstances in order to be able to handle everything the best that I can, both on a personal and professional level, sorting out my routine and learning about the importance of taking care of myself and my family. These months have taught me a lot about how important it is to prepare myself and fight more than ever next year.

What have you learned from 2020?
Without doubt, I have learned that flexibility, adaptability and passion for what you do is key to getting out of any difficult situation. It has been very hard, but I have not allowed myself to think, even for a moment, that we could not handle this situation. I believe that I take a "whatever happens, we'll get through it" philosophy with me, and that if you have a good team, which we have, you can overcome any adversity.

What aspects of the Covid situation do you highlight as CEO of Talent Search People?
I would be lying if I said that it has been a year where the positive outweighs the negative. It has been a hard year for everyone, but as I said before, it allowed us to grow and learn a lot. We had to reinvent ourselves. I always look on the positive side towards what else can be done, and this year has been a test to this approach, which I believe we have overcome with success. In addition, we have had time to improve many internal processes as well as technological developments that can often be overshadowed by the intensity of day-to-day life.

Are you afraid of facing the difficulties that next year may bring?
Fear is a word that is not in my head. As we have always done and especially in 2020, we will adapt to any circumstance and look for ways to make the best of it. Quite the contrary, I would say that it is especially this kind of “starting over” challenge that fills me with enthusiasm and a desire to take Talent to the next level.

What resolutions do you have for the New Year within the company?
We have many projects in mind in what we have been working on over the past two years and hope we can make it happen - we are very excited for the whole team! Our goal is to grow, our focus has always been to continue growing and to go further, and 2021 will be no different. I would also like to highlight our ambition to continue promoting technology and digital transformation to improve our daily work life and all internal and external processes. I am sure that a good year lies ahead!
