Our client is an international Chemical Company that works with medical and industrial gas.
The primary purpose of this role is to lead the Iberian business teams to implement the new commercial contract and protect company's interests ins this large-scales contract.
Your main responsibilities:
-Total Financial Accountability for the costs associated with the contracted activity.
-Fully responsible for the safe operation of all company activities undertaken by the contractor.
-Responsible for the development of operational best practices.
-Develop the role of Contract manager within the company.
-Commercial and Business responsibility.
We are looking for someone with the following qualifications, experience and skills:
- You have successfully completed your studies in Procurement or Business Administration Degree or equivalent.
- You are fluent in Spanish and English.
- Significant leadership role working on a 3rd party logistics contract to have “other side of the desk” (or substantive hands on experience of managing internal transport operations)
-You have already gained at least 5 years in similar roles.
-Detailed knowledge of transport value levers and commercial models
-Detailed understanding of transport best practises
-Detailed understanding of transport regulatory requirements
-Project management skills and the ability to deliver results
-Highly organised, focussed and objective – management through KPI(s) and financial account performance
