Our client is a company in the agribusiness industry.
As an Accountant, you will be working in a Shared Service Center, being part of a team and performing General Accounting activities for subsidiaries abroad. Among others, your responsibilities would be:
- Compile and analyse financial information to prepare financial statements including monthly, quarterly and annual accounts
- Ensure financial records are maintained in compliance with accepted policies and procedures
- Meet all financial reporting deadlines and prepare financial management reports (MIS)
- Ensure accurate and timely monthly, quarterly and year end close and resolve accounting discrepancies
- Manage and support financial audits
- Ensure accurate and appropriate recording and analysis of revenues and expenses and analyse and advise on business operations including revenue and expenditure trends
- Monitor and support taxation issues
Education
- Accounting degree or equivalent
Experience
- Minimum 3 years of experience in similar tasks, preferably in a multinational company
- Proven knowledge of IFRS accounting principles
Languages
- Fluent level of English and Dutch
