Our client is a multinational insurance company with headquarters in Barcelona. Focused on managing business risk from a global perspective.
As an Accountant/Treasury you will be responsible for:
-Prepare cash forecasts for insurance companies and Group Companies.
-Make all treasury bookings for insurance companies including premiums received and claims.
-Prepare bank reconciliations for insurance companies.
-Bank Admin tasks related to the different banks (open accounts, change approvers, …).
-Cash Management policy application.
-Prepare high level financial reviews.
-Support the rest of the Finance department with month end adjustments (VAT, Interest journals and accruals).
-Bank Admin tasks related to the different banks
-Ensure all bookings are made according to the closing schedule.
-Audit support
-Adhoc queries and reporting.
We are looking for a professional with the following qualifications, experience and skills:
-Accounting related degree.
-Great organization skills and attention to detail.
-Teamwork.
-Able to prioritize and multi-task when needed.
-3 years+ experience in similar position.
-Ability to work with deadlines.
-Proficient in Microsoft Office package especially Excel and Outlook.
-Fluency in written and spoken English (minimum First Certificate in English).
-Experience in Multinational companies.
-Experience working with multiple currencies.
-JD Edwards, SAP, Oracle or other ERP experience.
-Temporary contract until the end of September 2019
