As a Data Scientist, you will be working in the Business Intelligence team and reporting to the Business Intelligence Director.
You will be responsible for:
- To improve user segmentation for better email/push engagement based on user preferences.
- Implement a better recommendation engine for our site.
- Analyze / Improve the monetization of our ads using ML technics.
We are looking for a professional with the following qualifications, experience and skills:
Qualifications:
-Fluent English and Spanish.
-Degree in Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science or Engineering.
Experience:
-2+ Years of related experience as a Data Scientist or Data Analyst with a strong technical background.
Skills:
-A solid understanding of the appropriate statistical, data mining and machine learning methods to apply to each type of analysis.
-Very strong analytical skills.
-Advanced knowledge on SQL Language.
-Knowledge of any data science tools/languages (for instance R or Python)
-Theoretical knowledge of Advanced Analytics and machine learning algorithms.
-Enthusiastic about data user behaviour.
-Team player
-Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
-Willingness to learn and experiment and to work autonomously.
-Experience using Google Cloud Platform: BigQuery, TensorFlow.
-Previous Experience on an Internet Company.
