As a QA Automation Engineer you will be working in the software development team. You objective will be to work on a daily basis with the team ensuring proper testing level in terms of quality and coverage.
You will be responsible for:
-Automate testing at any interface level (Web, API), expanding the existing testing or creating a new one from scratch.
-Work closely with the developers to help out on keeping the UI tests stable.
-Keep an eye on hotfixes, rollbacks and stakeholders as a good source of information for better decisions on what should be automated.
-Involve and guide developers to keep focused on the code quality assurance.
-Ensure the health of the product from the requirements to production environment, across all stages of development.
-Continuously balance between the extensive testing and the speed of delivery, finding that sweet spot of “enough” testing in between.
-Quickly and accurately report any bug that is found.
-Break stuff early so it doesn’t break too late, and love to do so!
We are looking for a professional with the following qualifications, experience and skills:
Qualifications:
-Excellent English communication skills.
Experience:
- Experience in Agile methodologies.
- Previous experience testing an API / Web service, specially REST.
- Some experience with performance testing.
Technical Skills:
- Knowledge of HTTP protocol.
- Proficiency using SQL.
Personal Skills:
- Critical thought.
- Analytical thinking
- Excellent communication skills.
Desirable knowledge:
-Knowledge of JIRA for issue tracking.
-Knowledge of Git as a source code version control.
-Knowledge of Docker.
-Knowledge of Linux and basic console commands.
Other:
- Comfortable with adult content.
