Our client is a technology services company based in Barcelona. They are specialized in software development for the cloud and they work for international costumers in the aviation sector.
You would be focused on one of the main core business of this company: a private aviation ERP. One of its clients is the second largest client in this sector around the world. It has more than 1,600 users and 150 aircrafts. Always developing, there is little maintenance tasks. Little by little the system is more complex, complying with world flight laws, etc. And new developments have to be created. When you make these improvements the testing tasks can take you over two weeks. It really is a very interesting challenge that will allow you to grow professionally.
The team is composed of international people, mainly software engineers, business analysts, project managers and IU experts as well as the quality part that they want to build now. So far, the quality functions have been managed by the department of development and support department. However, they want to change this by hiring a senior QA and then expand the team (so you'll have the opportunity to ride your Team and manage its members).
Basically, the intention is to shorten this process as much as possible. The manual testing can’t disappear but they look for trained people who can minimize it to optimize the system. We work with Jenkins and Selenium mainly. We have also done unit testing and testing plans as well as Apis testing. In the company English is the first language, so it is mandatory to have a good level.
- 2-3 years of experience with Selenium and JAVA.
- Wide experience with Jenkins (or other continuous integration tolls)
- High level of English.
