Our client is a pure online streaming service that offers movies and TV series for subscription, rental and purchase, as one of the most important platforms in this field.
As a Ruby Engineer Developer, you will be working in the IT division and reporting to the manager.
You will be responsible for:
-Develop and improve our Rails APIs and services.
-Define the architecture of the new functionalities to implement
-Experience with real production environments that requires 99.99% uptime
-Develop high-volume, highly available, and distributed production APIs
We are looking for a person with the following qualifications, experience and skills:
-+2 years of proven experience in similar positions.
-Have knowledge and experience implementing and using REST APIs
-Have Knowledge and experience with relational databases, database design, SQL and ActiveRecord
-Strong automation skills.
-Strong communication skills.
-Ability to work in a team.
-Fluent spoken and written English.
Desired skills:
-Knowledge and experience with NoSQL databases (we use Redis)
-Knowledge and experience with message queuing services (we use SQS and Resque)
