Our client is an important chemistry multinational with offices in Barcelona and Geneva with more than 7.000 people across 63 facilities.

As a SAP Senior Expert, you will be responsible for:

-Provide easy access to decision-making information, in a timely manner (with predictive / anticipation) capabilities
-Plan the implementation of the IS strategy, the strategic initiatives and must-win battles that will drive IS operations.
-Ensure an effective and efficient use of the SAP solution capabilities to implement the defined strategy.
-Ensure the timely and efficient delivery of the activities (projects, change requests and support) assigned to the domain of expertise impacted
-Develop area of expertise/agility on his/her assigned functional domain (e.g Sales and Distribution)

Main Tasks:

-Deliver fit gap analysis (incl. requirements documentation) and assess migration strategy on projects
-Confirm Global design, solution choice and provide workload estimate on change requests impacting "Sales and Distribution" processes
-Manage and follow-up the assigned Change request backlog (incl. interaction with TDC developers)
-Perform data-collection for configuration setup (detailed design)
-Perform detailed design of solution localization on "Sales and Distribution" functional domain
-Deliver solution (configuration + Change request) within guidelines
-Validate solution delivery through integration testing
-Manage and validate defects/incidents corrections in project mode
-Execute data migration operations on SAP platform till cutover
-Support Key users during data migration runs as needed
-Address level 3 support on SAP Core modules
-Execute regression testing during quarterly release
-Contribute to the delivery of improvement plan impacting the "Sales and Distribution" funtional domain
-Suggesting processimprovements on "Sales and Distribuiton" functional area
-Act as IS Project manager (in case of)

Key Shared Accountabilities:

-Develop skills on new areas of expertise and deploy new services
-Support change management in project mode (e.g. KU and End user training execution)
-Contribute to Community of Interests (CoIs) driven by the business domains (user training material, FAQ,…)
-Execute Knowledge transfer to handover solution to the Technology Delivery Centre L2 teams
-Provide expertise to the Technology Delivery Centre L2 teams to address incidents on SAP solution
-Facilitate the communication within the SAP COE team and with the IBS partners (BRM teams, TDC ABAP teams)
-Apply delivery processes setup to secure the delivery execution (Capacity mgt, Time booking, Activities control, ...)

We are looking for a professional with the following qualifications, experience and skills:

-Bachelor Degree in Business and/or Computer Science.
-Previous Professional Experience:
-Strong expertise and experience on SAP SD-LE-TRA on the functional domain covering "Sales Distribution" incl. Shipping and transport area (8 to 10 years)
-High business understanding to ba able to positively challenge business requirements on the releveant functional domain
-Good Experience in Project management (3 to 5 years)
-Experience in Data integrity and Data migration

-Ability to work with off-shore teams.

-Ability to explain technical aspect to management.

Technical IT skills:

-Excellent functional knowledge on SAP Sales and Distribution functional domain (SAP SD-LE-TRA)
-Good project management skills
-General IT skills
-Previous exposure to CMMS
-Familiar with concept of enterprise architecture

Lenguage skills:

-English
-2nd language (French/Spanish is a strong plus)
