They are now in phase two of their growth and need to continue to increase scale and improve scalability as they enter additional markets.
We're looking for a Senior Frontend Developer to join our client's awesome web team to help them to develop a new web back-office platform for Insurance Brokers. You’ll be working in migrating the old platform. However, you’ll be providing our Brokers with new features and tools that will help them in their day to day duties, being easier to handle their clients.
Your daily work will focus mainly on the development and maintenance of the features that are being developed in the front-end and the migration of their old platform. They work using best practices (Testing, Code Review...) and in an environment of agile methodologies. You will work side by side with a multidisciplinary and multicultural team distributed among their different offices around Europe.
We are looking for a professional with the following qualifications, experience and skills:
- 2+ years of experience in web development
- Angular 2+
- TypeScript
- Application of CSS best practices
- Experience developing in client/server applications (REST, JSON)
- Experience developing Single Page Applications
- Experience with VCS (Git)
- Love for new technologies, clean architecture, coding in a decoupled way
- Have a continuous improvement mentality
- Able to work rotating teams and groups
- Fluent in English and Spanish
Would be a plus:
- Agile methodologies (preferably Scrum)
- ECMAScript 6 (ES6)
- RxJS
- Use of CSS preprocessors like SCSS
- Docker
- Server languages: Node, Ruby and/or PHP
- WordPress theme development
- Tasks automation with Grunt and/or Gulp Webpack
- Tests with Selenium (WebdriverIO)
- Tests with Jasmine and Karma
- Deployments on Heroku
- Previously worked with Salesforce
- UX and design skills
