Ground Segment GUI Software Engineer

As a Ground Segment GUI Software Engineer you will:

 Be the Responsible for the design and development of the Human-Machine-Interface (HMI) inside the Ground Control System (GCS) of the Unmanned Air System
 Work with aircraft engineers to capture all HMI requirements for monitoring aircraft health and status (H&S) and performing all command and control (C2) functions.
 Design all graphical layouts for H&S and C2 displays
 Create HMI display components using SCADE and/or Presagis tools
 Develop the HMI to DO-178C standards.
 Work with the ground segment lead to define the GCS requirements, software architecture, and software component architecture.
 Define the air-to-ground H&S and C2 interface parameters.
 Develop a test approach and verification, and validation environment for the HMI
 Design, develop, document, test and debug complex low-level software.

You are the person we are looking for if:

 you have a Bachelor’s Degree (or higher) in Engineering or Computer Science
 You have Knowledge of aircraft command and control functions and HMI display requirements
 You have Experience designing/building operator interface displays for aircraft, preferrably using SCADE or Presagis.
 You have Experience with safety-critical software development
 You Must be able to demonstrate ability to read, write and speak the English language.
 This position requires a Bachelor’s degree in the appropriate discipline and 5 years of relevant experience or an Advanced degree in the appropriate discipline and 4 years of relevant experience.
 In the absence of a degree, 11 years of relevant experience is required.
