Managing Director

As Managing Director you will lead the retail project. This includes all commercial and opertaional responsabilities across online and physic stores.

On your everyday, your main duties will consist in;

- Manage the companies' team throughout the transition period
- Ensuring all company practices, policies, procedures, systems and handbooks comply with the branch company and Spanish government legislation
- Manage the delivery of the new E-Commerce system ensuring the online platform is running efficiently and the warehouse is matching customer demands from day one
- Ensure the buying and merchandise team are prepared for stock deliveries and creating a visual merchandise plan to guarantee maximum sales across the main stores in Madrid
- Work with the buying team to analyse all store (including e-commerce) sales on a weekly basis, providing necessary sales to provide a better retail experience for the customer and maximise sales for the company
- Oversee the onboarding of new company team
- Drive the companies' head office team in Madrid to achieve above and beyond whilst maintaining a strong relationship with headquarters
- Acting as the primary point of contact with the branch company team and have a strong relationship with all members of the client team
- Consistently approach the company team with additional commercial activations as well as looking for new business opportunities across Europe

You are the person we are looking for if:

- You have 10-15 years’ experience in a Managerial role within sport retail (Retail experience a must-have)
- You are bilingual in English and Spanish
- You have experience managing a large team across buying, operations, HR and commercial
- You have strong written and verbal communication skills
- You have ability to work autonomously
