Our client is a digital service design company. Since 1995 they have been helping their customers to utilize innovative digital technologies. Today they are 180 digital experts working at offices in Freiburg, Munich, Vienna and coming soon in Oporto.
The Site Manager will have the following responsabilities:
-Take over the construction and management of an independent Frontend development team in Porto with up to 15 developers;
-Be responsible for the technical leadership of your team and be the contact person for technical questions;
-Improve cooperation between the development teams in Porto and Germany;
-Be responsible for building up and maintaining a talent network for the Porto site, and be the decision-maker in the selection process;
-Act as an interface to the other sites and be responsible for organisational issues;
-Work on the strategic orientation and the development of the company's product.
The ideal candidate presents with the following traits:
-Fluent level of English;
-Good knowledge of Oporto and the Portuguese market;
-At least 5 years of professional experience as a Frontend Developer;
-Initial leadership experience, and take enjoyment in the professional development of employees;
-Strong skills in solving problems;
-Empathic analytical;
-Decisive.
