New Product Engineer

Tasks and responsibilities:

• Work closely with R&D and Supply Chain groups to successfully introduce new products into the market.
• Define, develop and validate the manufacturing and test processes for new products during the development stage.
• Provide the manufacturability, serviceability, and cost inputs from Operations perspective to R&D labs
• Drive the transition from early prototype stages to volume production in Asia
• BOM management
• Define Service Process and attending requests from the field
• Interface with R&D and other departments to solve product quality problems.
• Perform engineering analysis of defective product units or sub-assemblies; evaluates results of customer feedback and manufacturing, test, and quality assurance processes for product.
• Communicate product and process issue analysis to product stakeholders; collaborates with management, internal, and outsourced manufacturing and development partners.
• Implement changes to product or process to reduce defects, improve quality, and lower costs.
• Seek for continuous improvement of cost, yield and quality for production.
Profiles needed:
• MEs will be working on NPI support, helping the team in product industrialization and manufacturability in new developments in the Mid volume Latex segment.
• Working in between of R&D and manufacturing in order to ensure products can be manufactured in top line. Also working in supporting products already in the field (Cost reduction projects, issues debugging and solving, product improvement regarding quality, …)
• ME will be supporting current products, following up platform stabilization projects, cost reductions and customer issues that involve product improvements.

Profiles needed:

Qualification and Requirements:

• Master's degree in Mechanical or Electronics Engineering…Diploma in Mechanical or Electronics Engineering with work experience.
• Fluent in English
• Minimum 2-3 years of experience in industrialization and/or product development
• Experience in working with Asian manufacturing ecosystem
