Our client is a multinational company based in Maia (Porto)

As an Inhouse Sales Retail Manager your main responsibilities will be:

- Deliver sales, price, DSO and new business objectives (especially in the small customer segment).
- Expand and improve profitability of our sales partner network, further establish/execute policies procedures for the effective execution of IHS
- Drive sales data analytics to identify and act on triggers in customer data to improve profitability, growth and customer retention
- Execute strategic plans for market segments, products, and specific account strategies for customers and prospects within sales portfolio
- Drives cross functional business planning process to ensure resources are allocated optimally to achieve our client objectives
- Setting individual and team objectives to deliver business forecast within agreed cost budget
Employs best practice processes to achieve high performance through people and improve employee retention
- Analyses and drives team member performance to achieve expected new business and customer profitability results, ensuring that business is optimized to provide the best possible return
- Conducts regular coaching sessions with account managers by utilizing tools e.g. Opportunity Roadmaps, at Risk Profiler, Customer Characterization;
- Establishes sales performance standards, and conducts regular and on-going measurement, evaluation and corrective planning
- Executes our client criteria in the recruitment and selection of new account managers
Acts as a role model in their behaviour.
- Understand the responsibility of Quality, Food Safety, Health, Safety and Environment Policies and other policy types communicated by the organization
- Key user for Salesforce (CRM/PRM) and process / control owner for SOX (LIMA) and SAP

You are the person we are looking for if you have:

- Bachelor’s degree. Preferably in areas of engineering/ technical, sales, marketing or finance
Preferably
- 5+ years of industrial/sales/Commercial experience in gas industry, chemical/other manufacturing or desired; experience in one market segment or a specific territory (Experience in telephone sales is a plus)
- Proven experience in team management
- Financial skills with strong analytical approach, and sound planning and organizing skills
- Native Dutch and English c1
- Further you have a excellent command of Cloud based CRM tools preferably Salesforce.com and experience on ERP / BW
- Strong Communication, negotiation and conflict resolutions skills
